Thanksgiving...

So this one time I decided to start a blog and for the most part kept up at it... but sadly have not really been keeping up with it lately... womp womp. So these next two posts are catch up posts. and then hopefully this week will be more recent... fingers crossed!

This blog comes with a warning for the first couple of photos... mainly warning for those out there that do not care for swarms of birds... ahem Aunty Megan... you have been warned.

Over Thanksgiving holidays we went down to Victoria to spend some time with the family, immediate and extended! hooray! One day we thought we'd venture down to the marina and feed the ducks... alas there were no ducks to be found... just seagulls and lots of them!

Rupe was not dissuaded, he stood his ground amongst all the birds!

This particular seagull looks bigger than my child... and that is saying something :D

Grammie shows us how it's done. Rupert loves diggers! he could have spent the whole day playing with the digger... didn't like sitting on it... but liked helping!

We were very thrilled to get to spend time with Aunties, Uncles and cousins!
{the beautiful Halle girl}

A treasure hunt! Today's treasure... chestnuts!

Rupe's treasures.

Halle's treasures. Cousin MyMy was sleeping during this adventure... but there was enough chestnuts found that I'm sure she shared in the booty.

On the digger with Grampy.

And now Grandma is wrangled in to do some digging! I think that's everyone!

We had a wonderful time with all the family under one roof! Can't wait till Christmas! I am loving these little people grow up together.

  2. It was a beautiful weekend and so fun to see all the little ones playing together. The picture of Hall with the static hair could win a prize and Meg, you didn't see the worse of the birds - reminded me of Alfred Hitchcock's the birds (before your time). Great post honey.
