beaches and o's...

Keeping on keeping on... a whiiiiile ago my momma came down for a visit and we decided to take her to our favourite place for rock throwing... Pipers Lagoon. I love BC! Going to the beach in the winter????? Yes please!

Rupe's a bit of a wimp about dirt... thanks daddy. :D But Grandma taught him a new trick... he can wipe them on her pants.

Grandma helped those short little arms reach the water for a prime rock dropping position.

It was a challenge to get these two to look at me at the same time! But I managed to snap a couple cute ones :D

After our noses and finger tips were as red as could be we headed home to teach Grandma our new way to eat cheerios! Very creative our little man is.

Almost caught up!

muuuuuseum...

well a rare moment has come... a quiet peaceful moment... child sleeping and no extra little people scurrying around our home. No parties, no meetings, just peace. So time to play catch up. We have been very busy with all the aforementioned activities but we have been good. Finding moments throughout the day and week to enjoy each other, our little family of three.

(here's Rupert trying to show one of the little boys I look after how to smile for the camera, such a cheeseball.)

I love the age Rupert is at right now. He is constantly in discovery mode. His latest discovery and love is playdoh. I must grunt a lot when I flatten the playdoh as that is how he asks for it. He pushes down on the table and grunts. Little munchkin! His favourite thing to do with playdoh is make animal tracks... such a boy!

Speaking of animal tracks... (yup I am the queen of segues)... we went to the Museum while in Victoria visiting family... Rupe's favourites were all the animals!

(Grampy says this is called "scat")

I love our museum!!!!!! amazing kids section right now, so much for little people to do!

Rupert the turtle shark.

Rupert was a little nervous about the woolly mammoth, good thing he had aunty Em's arm to cling to and stamp on his hand!

I think he would have been happy to ride the escalator all day.

First of a few catch up posts!
